Instructions for attaching your wire
After choosing your wire, cut a piece 8-12″ longer than the horizontal measurement of your artwork to provide enough wire for wrapping.
1. Insert one end of the wire through the hoop of the hanger, moving from the top to the bottom.
2. Pull through 4-6″, then bend the wire around the hoop. Take the shorter end of the wire over the longer piece, passing it through the hoop again, this time from bottom to top.
3. Pass the short end of the wire through the loop formed above the long end and pull firmly to create a slipknot.
4. Wind the remainings of the short end around the long end.
5. Spread the wire across the frame and thread it through the other hoop. Bend the wire around the hoop and grip securely.
6. Gently elevate the wire in the center of the frame. Ensure there is sufficient slack so that the tip of this “triangle” is positioned a few inches closer to the frame’s top than the hangers. Typically, this midpoint will rest at about the halfway mark between the frame’s upper edge and the hangers.
7. Follow steps 2-4 for the second hoop.
