This economical model is designed for doors weighing up to 65 kg (150 lbs) and measuring 950 mm (36 inches) in width. Additionally, it is a non-handed closer that functions on both left- and right-handed doors.
MATERIAL: This hydraulic door closer is constructed from US26D satin chrome-plated die-cast aluminum, featuring a wrought steel arm. It is equipped with a heat-treated piston and a powder-coated body to improve corrosion resistance. The heavy-duty closer includes three valves to modify the closing speed, latching speed, and backcheck.
CERTIFICATIONS: These self-closing door hinges are UL228-listed and possess a UL-certified three-hour fire rating. LYNN HARDWARE closers are also certified per ANSI / BHMA A156.4. As ANSI Grade 2 commercial hardware with a requirement of 1 million cycles, DC6003 is suitable for typical residential and light commercial uses, such as in small offices and public restrooms.
INSTALLATION: Each package of the commercial door closer includes all essential hardware, including brackets and a soffit plate, for installation utilizing any of the three mounting types. The mounting options for our surface-mounted door closer include regular arm mounting (most energy-efficient), top jamb mounting (reasonably energy-efficient), and parallel arm mounting (which is 25% less energy-efficient compared to the other two options).
