A. Ceiling fan Not Functioning Post Installation?
1. Confirm that all wire connections are accurate and secure.
2. Check if the power supply is turned on and can reach the receiver.
3. Ensure that the batteries in the remote control are inserted with the proper polarity, making certain the +(positive) end of the batteries is inserted in the solid end and the -(negative) end on the spring.
4. Re-code the control set; the steps are – first turn off the wall switch for 10 seconds, turn the wall switch back on and immediately press and hold the FAN/OFF button for 5 seconds. If the red indicator light blinks, it indicates a successful re-coding. Please attempt to operate the fan again after a successful re-code.
B. Does the Fan Produce a Humming Sound?
1. Ensure the remote control you are using is compatible with your fan.
2. Verify that all parts are securely fastened. Loose components can cause vibrational noise or a buzzing sound.
3. Dismantling and reassembling the fan can sometimes solve this resonant vibrating noise.
4. Double-check that the fan wires at the ceiling’s top are not scraping against the operating fan motor.
