A secure 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi network connection is necessary for Hub M2/ M1S/ E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/ G2H, and it also supports 2.4/ 5 GHz Wi-Fi for Camera Hub G3.(NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Wi-Fi 6. Wired connection via Ethernet RJ45 for Hub M2 is also supported).Furthermore, to connect the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor with HomeKit or enable the skills in Alexa, an Aqara Hub is required for binding.
[Proximity] For a reliable connection and precise transmission of temperature and humidity data, ensure the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor is positioned within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and that the hub is within the same distance from the Wi-Fi router. Ensure both the hub and the router are part of the same local area network (LAN).
[Remote Monitoring and Home Automation] When the room temperature rises above or falls below a specified threshold, the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor can alert your phone or trigger the Aqara Hub night light. Additionally, it can command other connected devices such as the Aqara Smart Plug to maintain a consistent level of comfort for you and your family.
[Accurate Measurement] Employs a high-quality sensor from the industry-leading provider, Sensirion.(Please refrain from placing the Aqara Temperature Sensor in extremely hot or cold environments, such as inside a refrigerator.) Note: Pull the plastic battery tab out before long-pressing the reset button to activate the device. If the device disconnects, check if the battery is charged. If it is not, twist the temperature sensor to remove the battery cover and replace the battery.
