This casement window sash lock is manufactured from diecast materials and features an antique brass plated coating. Out of the 3 strikes provided, two are made from stamped steel. This set is designed for swing-in and push-out butt-hinged casement windows. The lock latch and lever are ambidextrous, allowing for rotation up to 360° for both right and left-hand uses. Included in this set are a rim strike and surface strike suitable for swing-in casements, as well as a mortise strike intended for push-out casement windows. Sash locks such as this are typically used to complement the locking hardware found on vintage-style casement windows.

The diecast surface strike is tailored for single swing-in casement windows, whether right or left-handed. This strike can also be applied to XOX swing-in casement windows, where “X” represents the active panels and “O” indicates the fixed ones.
The stamped steel rim strike is applicable to single swing-in casements, paired swing-in casements, XOX swing-in casements, or any combination of swing-in casements with a jamb or mullion for affixing the strike.
The rectangular mortise strike is designated for push-out casements and is affixed to the interior, vertical edge of the jamb. Here, the lock often functions as a pull handle when closing the push-out casement window. Note: Mortising is necessary for this keeper.
This lock can be utilized in pairs for tall casement windows seeking additional security.
