Installation Guidelines:
Step 1: Disable the water supply to the water softener apparatus.
Step 2: Identify the bypass valve port on the water softener apparatus.
Step 3: Detach the existing bypass valve, if available, by loosening the connecting fittings or screws.
Step 4: Fasten the threaded adapters included with the 7129871 bypass valve to the bypass valve port of the water softener apparatus. Ensure a snug connection.
Step 5: （NOTE: When connecting the pipes, align the two threads and tighten them simultaneously. Avoid tightening one side prior to the other, as this could lead to misalignment of the thread tightened later.）Connect the bypass valve to the threaded adapters, ensuring a secure fit. Utilize PTFE tape on the threaded connections to avert leakage.
Step 6: Activate the water supply and inspect for any leaks. Tighten the connections further if necessary.
Step 7: The bypass valve is now set up and prepared for use.
