To determine if a window is a left-handed or right-handed configuration from the outside, observe the hinge side:
A hinge on the left indicates a left-handed window.
Conversely, a hinge on the right indicates a right-handed window.
For a more straightforward approach from the inside:
If, while gazing at the window, the lock is positioned on the left, it is a left-handed window (hinge to the left from exterior view).
If the lock is found on the right side when observing the window, it’s a right-handed window (hinge to the right from exterior view).
