Affixing the Hinge on the Door
Using a 1-2/5″ (35mm) boring drill bit, create a 1/2″ (12.7mm) deep cavity for the hinge cup. Note: Avoid drilling all the way through the door. Make 1/16″ (1.5mm) pilot cavities for the hinge screws. Insert the hinge into the cavity and secure it with flat-head wood screws.
Attaching the Door to the Cabinet
Completely open the hinge to its fullest extent. Position the door against the side panel, ensuring it is correctly aligned. Securely attach the screws to fix the hinge to the cabinet, following the proposed placement.
